📊 Stock Adjustments With Your Convenience PDE

Stock adjustments allow you to correct inventory levels by recording stock increases or decreases. Use this function to account for found stock, promotional displays, or inventory corrections outside of regular wastage and deliveries.

Before You Start

Stock adjustment profiles must be configured in your back office before you can use this function.

Creating a Stock Adjustment Batch

Access Stock Adjustments

  1. Log in to your Convenience PDE
  2. Scroll to find Stock Adjustments
  3. Tap on it to open

Create or Edit a Batch

You can either:

  • Preview existing batch: Tap the eye icon to view items (press back button to return)

  • Add to existing batch: Tap on the batch itself

  • Create new batch: Press Create Batch
    • When creating a new batch, select Stock In or Stock Out
    • Enter a description (optional - default batch name will be provided)
    • Press Create

Adding Items to the Batch

Scan Items

  • Ensure the scanner icon (QR code) is showing

  • Scan an item

If the barcode doesn't scan, tap on the Item field to bring up the keypad and enter the number manually. Tap anywhere on the screen to hide the keypad.
Tap Find to search for the item.

Select Adjustment Type

For the first item scanned, a dropdown displays adjustment types. You are required to select an option and your selection applies to all items in the batch going forward.

⚠️ Important: To use different adjustment types, create separate batches for those items. 

Enter Quantity

  1. Review the product info displayed (stock on hand and pricing)
  2. Enter the quantity using the keypad at the bottom of the screen
  3. Toggle between Units, Cartons, or Kilos by pressing on the unit type
  4. Press ADD before moving to the next item

ℹ️ Note: If you scan the same product again and enter a different quantity, it will add to the previously entered quantity.

Added items appear in the stock adjustment batch. To view items in the batch, go back and click the preview icon.

Currently you cannot edit or delete items in a stock adjustment batch from the Convenience PDE. Make these changes in the back office if needed. 

Unrecognised Item

If the item scanned is not in the system, it will display Unrecognised Item. 

Use the Add Item function to add it to the system before continuing.

Updating the Batch

Once you've added all items to the stock adjustment batch, navigate to the back office to review and post the adjustment batch.
