Enable automatic acceptance of promotion corrections from your host company. When processing host files, the system automatically updates promotion pricing without manual intervention.
Why Enable This
When this setting is enabled:
- Host companies can send promotion corrections that apply automatically
- You don't need to manually update prices when the host fixes a promotion
- Promotion changes from host files update your system seamlessly
- Saves time when host companies issue price corrections mid-promotion
ℹ️ Note: This setting only affects promotions from host files. Manual promotions you create are not affected.
Enabling or Disabling Corrections
Open Store Settings
- Navigate to the Setup tab in Convenience
- Select Stores
- Double-click your store name to open it
Access Host Settings
Select Host in the left-hand navigation menu.
Configure Correction Settings
You'll see two options:
- Tick Accept Host Promotion Corrections to enable automatic promotion updates
- Tick Accept Host Leadin Corrections to enable automatic lead-in price updates
- Untick either option to disable automatic corrections
Save Changes
Select OK to save your settings.
💡 Tip: Most stores enable both options. This ensures your promotions stay accurate when host companies send corrections.
How It Works
When host promotion corrections are enabled:
- You process a host file as normal
- If the host company included promotion corrections, the system detects them
- The system automatically updates affected promotion prices
- Items with corrected prices show updated "Date Changed" values
You can then reprint labels for changed items only.

When to Disable
You might disable these settings if:
- You want full manual control over all promotion pricing
- You prefer to review host corrections before applying them
- Your host company frequently sends incorrect corrections
