The Unit of Measure for items is typically provided by your host company, and you’ll see this information in the Price Info tab of the item.
This tab displays:

The unit of measure (e.g. per litre, per kilogram)

The item size, represented in the unit of measure
For example, in this 1.25L Coca-Cola item:

The unit of measure is per litre
-
The size is displayed as 1250 (units are shown in millilitres, so 1250 = 1.25 litres)

With a selling price of $4.55, this gives a price per litre of $3.20
In most cases, you won’t need to adjust this — it will be hosted automatically. However, if you are creating in-store items, you can set the Unit of Measure yourself in this section.
If you don’t need to display a Unit of Measure for an item, you can set it as exempt by ticking the Exempt from UOM option instead.
