📈 Using the Sales Comparison Report

Generate summary reports that compare sales across different periods, with the option to visualise trends using a built-in chart.

Open the Sales Comparison tool

In Convenience, go to the Printing tab and select Sales Comparison.

Configure your report

Set the Report Period for the data you want to view.

To compare sales over time:

  • Tick Print Comparison Period

  • A second date range field will appear for you to select your Comparison Period

You can also:

  • Choose what to display in the report (e.g. total sales, units, margin)

  • Enable or disable the chart at the bottom of the report

  • Filter by Departments, Sub-Departments, Groups, Suppliers, or specific Promos

If you use any of the filter options, a note will appear at the bottom of the report to indicate what's being shown.

Generate the report

Once your options are set, click Preview.

You can then choose to Print or Save the report.

Run another report

To run another comparison:

  1. Click Close to exit the preview

  2. Click Report Selections to begin again with new filters or timeframes
