📈Using the Item Sales Report
Item Sales Report displays total quantity, sales, and cost of items sold within a specified date range. View current stock on hand, stock value (based on carton cost), promotional sales totals, and GP% for sold items.
Open Item Sales Report
- Navigate to the Printing tab in Convenience.
- Select Item Sales Report.

Configure Report Settings
Store Selection
If you manage multiple stores, select the store you want to generate the report for.

History Date Range
Select the date range for the sales data you want to analyse.

Active/Inactive and Item Type
- Choose Active, Inactive, or both.
- Select item types: Host, Direct, InStore, or any combination.

Optional Select By Filters
Filter your report by specific criteria:
- Department
- Sub-Department
- Group
- Supplier
- Items - Double-click a blank line to search for items, or load items from an existing order using Load Items from Order Number
- Filters - Create custom filters with price match indicators and product grades

Custom Filters Options:
When using the Filters option, you can:
- Use price match indicators in the Core Range Indicators section
- Enter product grades (Metcash stores only) to show specific items
- Tick Exclude to exclude items matching the grade criteria

ℹ️ Note: For Metcash product grade lists, contact Metcash directly.
Item Level Report Order
Select how the report will be sorted. Dept/Alpha is the default, sorting by department number.

ℹ️ Note: Sorting is based on department numbers, not department names.
Report Types
Select what the report will display. You can only select one report type.

Options
Select multiple options to filter what the report displays.

Open and Save Custom Reports
If you've configured a custom report you want to reuse:
- Click Save to save your report configuration.
- Click Open to load a previously saved report.
This is especially useful when using custom filters that would take time to recreate.

Generate the Report
- Click Preview to generate your report.
- Review the report in the preview window.
- Click Save or Print to save or print the report.
- Click Close when finished.
