The promotions grid shows all your promotions at a glance with colour-coded status indicators. Quickly view active promotions, stop individual items, print shelf labels, and manage promotion lifecycles.
Understanding the Promotions Grid
Colour coding
- Black text: Promotion not yet running
- Blue text: Promotion currently active at registers
- Red text: Promotion deactivated
VIP column: A green tick indicates member-only specials (IGA Rewards, Truly Local, Convenience Members)
Deactivated column: Drop the box and select Y to deactivate a promotion (These will show up Red)
⚠️ Important: Inactive promotions are automatically deleted after 3 weeks. To reuse a promotion later, change its start date before it's deleted.
Stopping Individual Items
To stop an item without stopping the entire promotion:
- Open the promotion batch
- Find and edit the item
- Select STOP from the Action dropdown
- Click OK
- Click Initiate/Terminate to send the change to registers
Printing Promotional Labels
- Select the promotion batch in the grid
- Click Print Labels
- A window will appear with label printing options
Optional - Print only recently changed items:
- Tick the checkbox to Print only items changed after
- Select a date from the date picker
- This prints labels only for items modified after that date
Or print all items:
- Leave the checkbox unticked

Continue to print all items in the batch

Click Continue or Print
- Print your shelf tickets
