FoodWorks offer files contain promotional offers and deals. Download and process these files separately from your regular FoodWorks grocery host files.
Before You Start
Check the Inventory tab for a yellow box underneath Till Changes. If the box appears showing a file starting with OF..., a Foodworks offer file is ready to download. No box means no file available.
Downloading FoodWorks Offer Files
Navigate to the Host tab in Convenience and select Retrieve Host File
- Select Offers Host - OF from the dropdown menu
- Click Go
- Watch the dialogue box for confirmation
The dialogue box displays success or error messages.
Processing FoodWorks Offer Files
FoodWorks uses different processing methods for grocery/liquor files versus offer files. This article covers the offer file process.
Navigate to the Host tab in Convenience and select Process Host Offers
- Click Process (default options are already configured correctly)
- Wait for processing to complete
Troubleshooting
No offer file downloads: Contact FoodWorks to confirm if an offer file has been released for your store.
Download fails: Note the error message and contact Future Net support at help.futurenet.com.au/support.
Processing fails: Close the window and try again. If the issue persists, contact Future Net support at help.futurenet.com.au/support.
Offers not appearing on tills: You may need to initiate/terminate promotions to update promotional pricing.
