Examples include "Buy 1 Coke and get a chocolate 50% off" or "Buy 2 Cokes and get a chocolate free." --- ### Example 1: Buy 1 Coke and Get a Chocolate 50% Off #### Creating the Promotion 1. Navigate to the **Inventory** tab in Convenience and select **Promotions** 2. Click **Add** 3. Enter the promo number and select batch type **Sell** 4. Click **OK** 5. Enter a description and set the **Start Date** and **End Date** 6. Tick **Set1 Active** 2. Enter **1** in **Trigger Qty** 3. Tick **Set2 Active** 2. Enter **1** in **Trigger Qty** 3. Click **Add** at the bottom of the screen 2. Add Coca Cola items with **Offer Set** = **1** 3. Add chocolate items with **Offer Set** = **2** 4. Click **Finish** 2. Click **Initiate/Terminate** to send to registers 3.
