Additional Tools in Promotion Batches

Mass Load

Load multiple items at once into your promotion batch.

1. Click Mass Load
2. Select your criteria (e.g., tick Only Items flagged as Do Not Order to load clearance items)
3. Choose a department
4. Select items individually or use Multi Selections to select all
5. Click Add Selected

 

Import and Export

Save promotion batches to reuse later.

1. Click Export to save a populated promotion to your PC
2. Create a new promotion batch when needed
3. Click Import to load the saved file

Rounding

Round promotional prices to neat figures.

1. Click Rounding
2. Select your rounding preference from the examples shown
3. Click OK

Action

Quickly stop or reactivate items within the promotion.

1. Click Action
2. Select the items you want to stop or reactivate
3. Choose the action to apply

Recalculate Promo Sells (ReCalc Sells)

Adjust promotional prices based on GP and sell price calculations.

1. Click Recalculate
2. Adjust the calculation options
3. Click OK
4. Run Rounding afterwards to clean up the prices

Skip Invest Buy

Prevent buy promotion items from being included in investment buying options during orders.

1. Tick Skip Invest Buy
2. Click OK

Advanced Options

Set specific times and days for promotions.

1. Click Advanced
2. Set Sell Start Time and Sell End Time
3. Select specific days if needed
4. Click OK

Exclusive To

Restrict promotions to specific customer groups (e.g., Convenience Members, IGA Rewards, Truly Local).

1. Click Exclusive To
2. Tick the customer groups that should receive this promotion
3. Click Finish
